MidAtlantic was honored to be present at the ribbon cutting ceremony for one of our affordable housing projects in Jersey City, NJ. Dr. Lena Frances Edwards Apartments were conceived of by Genesis Companies and Jersey City to redevelop formerly neglected sites and reinvest in the community. The apartments are a five story, 64-unit affordable housing development including select units set aside for homeless veterans.
Dr. Lena Frances Edwards was a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient and was a prominent physician dedicated to her medical practice among Jersey City’s working poor for nearly 30 years.
