MidAtlantic’s Marine engineering Group is focused on improving and servicing port infrastructure, waterfront development, coastal projects, and bridges in residential, commercial, and industrial market sectors. This includes work for private developers, energy sector clients, and municipality, county, state, and federal government-funded projects. The continued expansion of our services is a direct result of our unique expertise in solving complex problems in port, coastal, and offshore environments.
Our team of engineers and divers is ready to tackle projects of any size for any client. MidAtlantic excels in providing services to all phases of the construction process from site investigation, design, and permitting; through contractor procurement and construction administration. Our underwater inspections and investigations are all performed by our ADCI licensed engineer-divers using company-owned equipment and vessels. Â The underwater inspection team has experience working on waterfront structures of all types and materials, located in salt, brackish, or freshwater, in both inshore and offshore settings. Whether it be maintenance condition assessment, structural/integrity assessments, contractor oversight, or waterfront design and permitting, we make it our top priority to be responsive, agile, and thorough. While we have established a firm footprint in the mid-Atlantic region, our marine engineering group routinely conducts work throughout the United States.
