MidAtlantic Engineering provided was engaged by Pennrose Properties, to complete Site Civil design and permitting for approval of the mixed-use Citywalk redevelopment project in New Castle, Delaware. The project consisted of 120 residential apartments, 6,000 SF of retail space, and incorporated both surface and structured parking. Design challenges included addressing tidal flood protection while limiting the expenses of soil import.
